Call for Interns

Vidhi is inviting applications for internships from students enrolled in a recognised three-year or five-year law programme at any Indian university. Students pursuing courses in humanities or public policy are also welcome to apply. 

Interns at Vidhi will have the opportunity to:

  •  Interact with legal academics and practising lawyers
  •  Conduct research on cutting-edge issues of law and policy
  •  Assist with drafting reports

Applications are invited on a rolling basis for a minimum period of 4 weeks and a maximum period of 12 weeks.

Interns will be required to be resident in Delhi for the duration of the internship. A basic stipend will be provided.

Special Call for Interns for the Judicial Reforms Initiative

The Judicial Reforms Initiative at Vidhi undertakes interdisciplinary, empirical research on contemporary issues related to judicial institutions with the aim of informing public debate and proposing institutional, legislative, regulatory and policy reform needed to reinforce the Indian legal and judicial system. The Initiative undertakes both collaborative and independent research projects, follows up the proposed reformatory actions with government entities, and engages in direct discussions to determine strategies to make reforms logistically plausible and implementable.

The Judicial Reforms Initiative invites applications for internships for the following posts:

1.       Legal research intern

2.       Quantitative research intern (remote working possible)

Applications for legal research intern are invited on a rolling basis for a minimum period of 4 weeks and a maximum period of 8 weeks.

Applications for the post of quantitative research intern are invited from students pursuing advanced degrees in economics, statistics or allied disciplines, for a minimum period of 16 weeks.

Interns will be required to be resident in Delhi for the duration of the internship. A stipend will be provided to the interns.

Special Call for Interns for the Public Health and Environmental Justice Initiative

The Public Health and Environmental Justice Initiative at Vidhi undertakes interdisciplinary, empirical research on contemporary issues related to health and environment with the aim of informing public debate and contributing to legislative and policy reform. The main areas of focus include the right to health, pharmaceutical regulation and access to drugs, and the intersection between environmental and public health issues. A mix of lawyers, public health experts and environmentalists work on these issues at the Initiative.
