The Green Hour is a periodical report, published by the Climate and Ecosystems Team, that employs an environmental lens to summarise each parliamentary session. It is intended to act as a tool to measure the performance and accountability of the executive and legislature with regards to environment-related matters. By simplifying parliamentary proceedings and presenting them in an easily-accessible format, the report aims to help citizens understand how to engage with the legislature and policymakers on matters related to various aspects of the environment.
The Climate and Ecosystems Team also publishes a fortnightly newsletter, The Green Hour Online Bulletin, that brings together key environmental and regulatory updates from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. It covers new rules and amendments, office circulars and memoranda, notifications on newly declared or modified protected areas, parliamentary updates and updates from the team.
