Lest We Forget was a nine-part, data-driven series documenting the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people’s lives and examining the responses of central and state governments. The initiative brought Vidhi’s researchers on the ground to understand firsthand the experiences of communities particularly vulnerable to the pandemic’s effects. The resulting reports brought together data, policy analysis and lived experiences to examine government action and inaction across the range of issues that emerged during the pandemic, documenting both how the crisis unfolded and how governments responded.
