Ananya Upadhya
Ananya is a Research Fellow at the Founder and Research Director's Office at Vidhi. She takes a keen interest in technology law (especially platform governance), constitutional law, and international trade law. She has contributed pieces for the Financial Express, Constitutional Law and Philosophy, and over 50 articles for JURIST News, where she served as South Asia Chief of Staff. Before joining Vidhi, she worked in the fintech and financial regulatory space at Khaitan & Co, where she worked on due diligence, legal advisory and contractual work for banks, non-banking financial companies, payment aggregators and cryptocurrency entities. She graduated as a gold medallist from the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme at National Law University Delhi, where she worked extensively on the 'Pressing Charges' report on journalistic freedoms in association with Columbia Law School.
