Esha Rana

Esha Rana is a Senior Resident Fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. She was previously an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School, where she taught courses in environmental law, administrative law, and legal drafting. She also curated an elective titled Environmental Security in the Anthropocene, which explored the linkages between ecological disruption and international security frameworks. She has been associated with Vidhi in the past as a Project Fellow on the Courting the Environment initiative, where she contributed to research on the implementation of environmental judgments by the Supreme Court. She has also worked at an environmental law firm, where she engaged with environmental law litigation at the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal. Esha holds an LLM in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School.
