Aliya Nazreen

Aliya Nazreen is a Research Fellow with the Legal Design and Regulation Team at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy. She graduated from the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi in 2025. Her academic and research interests span regulatory design, technology regulation and rights-based public law, with a particular focus on surveillance, data governance and encryption. She is especially interested in how legal systems respond to technological change. Outside of research, she enjoys strength training, folk horror and sudoku.
