About the Position
We are looking for a full-time Programme Manager, Nyaaya to manage programme implementation, stakeholder coordination, and operational workflows across Nyaaya’s initiatives, including our flagship fellowship programmes in Bihar, Karnataka and Maharashtra, with over 40 lawyers acting as Samvidhaan Fellows. This role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to scale impact.

Key responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Nyaaya team to ensure smooth implementation and coordination of all events and programmes across multiple states.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of programme-related events and initiatives.
- Draft proposals for collaboration and fundraising, update funder reports and oversee impact tracking.
- Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships.
- Maintain and strengthen documentation systems, ensuring all programme-related materials are organised and accessible.
- Identify process gaps and support improvements in programme workflows and coordination.
- Manage Nyaaya’s website backend, coordinate with tech consultants, and ensure proper functioning of Nyaaya website.
- Manage communications with stakeholders and volunteer networks.
- Supervise and mentor Nyaaya’s interns, supporting their development and ensuring quality of work.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the People and Culture Team.
- Review and interpret funding guidelines, reporting formats, compliance conditions.
- Manage invoices, track programme budgets and handle all invoice-related processes for Samvidhaan Fellows to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations.
- Coordinate with Vidhi finance team to ensure smooth payment processes for Nyaaya.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, mass communication, literature, social sciences, development studies, management, or a related field.
- Applications are open to candidates with relevant experience in programme management, operations, or finance.
- Strong understanding of financial documentation, compliance and reporting, with the ability to manage multiple funder requirements and deadlines.

Location and Remuneration
- This is a full-time position based out of New Delhi or Bangalore, with occasional travel depending on programme requirements.
- The remuneration for this role is in the range of INR 70,000-80,000 depending on experience.
