About the Authors

Debargha is retained as a Research Fellow to the Founder’s Office of Arghya Sengupta. In his role, he provides legislative drafting assistance to various Ministries, Departments and Authorities of the Central Government and various State Governments, supports the development of the Kautilya Societies across law universities, and manages strategic litigation initiatives and independent research projects under the Founder’s Office. Debargha is an India qualified lawyer and has represented leading corporations across healthcare, education and manufacturing industries before various Courts and Tribunals in India as an Associate (Disputes) with Saraf & Partners Law Offices, Delhi. He founded and presently serves as the Managing Trustee of Project Saathi, a non-profit organisation advocating for strengthening of India’s Right to Education Act. He regularly advises various impact-driven businesses and non-profits on legal and policy strategy. He holds a BA LLB (Hons.) degree from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar, India.
