The under-representation of women in the judiciary

Priyamvadha is a Research Fellow with the Justice, Access, and Lowering Delays Initiative (JALDI) team at Vidhi, Karnataka. Her areas of interest include comparative constitutional law and human rights, particularly women's and migrant rights. She graduated with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2020 and obtained the BCL from the University of Oxford in 2021. She has previously interned with Centre for Child and the Law, NLS-Bangalore, and has provided research assistance on other independent research projects. She enjoys reading, writing fiction and poetry, quizzing, listening to diverse music genres, and playing the piano.

Prathiksha Ullal, is an Advocate and a graduate of Christ University Bengaluru 2021. She has previously worked as a Law Clerk cum Research Assistant to the office of the Advocate General, Karnataka and as a LAMP fellow of the 2022-23 batch. Her interests primarily lie at the intersection of environmental law and feminist perspectives. She also possesses a keen interest in constitutional law and legislative drafting. Her non-academic interests include travelling, cycling and composing poetry. She is also an avid reader of feminist classics.
