Vidhi Book Adda | 2024: The Election That Surprised India by Rajdeep Sardesai

Did you know, after a decade-long one party rule, India has seen a return of coalition government in 2024? Out of 3921 independent candidates who contested in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, only 7 were elected? While election officials trekked around 39 km to a village in Arunachal Pradesh to collect the vote of a single female voter, 17.8 lakh voters from Surat did not even get the chance to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections?
To discuss the interesting twists and turns in India’s politics, Vidhi is hosting an award-winning senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on its next #BookAdda for an interesting discussion on bestseller ‘2024: The Election That Surprised India’.
