A case study on the ‘Roles of teachers in providing educational and allied support for the delivery of Early Childhood Education(ECE) during COVID-19 in India’ by the Education team at Vidhi got published under the Teachers in Crisis Contexts series by the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE). The link to the case study can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/3AOLYZt

In this video, Pooja Pandey (Senior Resident Fellow, Education) is in conversation with Mrs. Archana Phadke (a pre-primary teacher at the Akanksha Schools, Mumbai). This video builds upon the INEE case study and corroborates it with teacher’s own voices, learning and experiences. It also highlights the unique teaching and learning needs as well as the role of additional support at the levels of ECE and how teachers played a pivotal role in ensuring that.
