Vidhi hosted a discussion with journalist and author Rukmini S. on 17th December, 2021 on Rukmini’s book “Whole Numbers and Half Truths“, specifically the parts relating to the use of data to understand our law and courts. Given the extensive empirical research the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy has done in this field, and especially its data driven analysis to inform judicial and criminal justice reforms, the book spurred a thought provoking discussion on the stories legal data tells us. It also featured a conversation with other organisations working in the area of legal data.
