Sagarika Mathur
Sagarika is the Officer – People and Culture at Vidhi. Sagarika is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing all HR-related functions and processes at Vidhi, focusing on three principal areas – people engagement and wellbeing, organisational culture development, operations and administration. Sagarika has completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology from Delhi University and is keenly interested in Psychological research and wishes to contribute to the discipline through novel, rigorous and robust research endeavours. Prior to joining Vidhi she was teaching as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at JIMS, Rohini. As a professor she supervised 25 undergraduate dissertation projects which have excellent chances of getting published. She has also worked briefly as a mental health counsellor for the 181 MHL programme being run by the Delhi Commission for Women. She served as a crisis interventionist and assisted victims of trauma and violence by providing them psychological first-aid as well as assistance with legal proceedings. Sagarika has entered the HR space with the hope of actualizing her dream of applying her education and training in psychology and a growing understanding of the human mind and behaviour in the organizational context.
