Vidhi is delighted to invite you to a discussion with journalist and author Rukmini S. on 17th December, 2021 at 5.30 pm. The discussion will focus on Rukmini’s book “Whole Numbers and Half Truths“, specifically the parts relating to the use of data to understand our law and courts. Given the extensive empirical research the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy has done in this field, and especially its data driven analysis to inform judicial and criminal justice reforms, the book will spur a thought provoking discussion on the stories legal data tells us. It will also feature a conversation with other organisations working in the area of legal data.

Alok Prasanna, Lead, Vidhi Karnataka, & Co-Founder, Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, will be moderating the session.

This discussion will take place in a hybrid mode. Given the engagement in-person discussions generate, Vidhi is hosting this at its Bangalore office for those who wish to join in person. Those who cannot join in person may participate via Zoom.
