Jasmeet Singh worked as the Communications and Advocacy Manager at Vidhi. He has over seven years of experience in media and communications, in particular human rights communications. Prior to working in the human rights field, he has worked as a sub-editor and correspondent for United News of India (UNI) where he covered the diplomacy beat. He has reported on the South China Sea dispute, the Russian annexation of Crimea and on the Augusta-Westland controversy. He has also covered visits of Israeli cabinet minister Naftali Bennet, French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh to New Delhi for UNI. Jasmeet started his career working for the academic publisher Routledge. He has a bachelors in IT and post-graduate degrees in Journalism and International Law & Diplomacy from University of Pune and the Indian Society of International Law, respectively. He is currently on leave from pursuing a master's degree in international law from the Australian National University.
