Prianka is a Senior Resident Fellow with the Vidhi Aid initiative. She is currently working on research and legislative drafting projects on Inclusive education, early childhood development and regulation of medical devices in India. Prianka is passionate about strengthening the law making process through evidence based research and stakeholder participation.
Prianka graduated with a B.A. LLB (Hons.) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. She has published analyses on a diverse range of Bills, and on the working of Parliament and state legislatures, including op-eds in newspapers such as the Indian Express and Hindustan Times. Prior to joining Vidhi, Prianka worked with policy research organisations such as PRS Legislative Research and the Lawyers’ Collective, and briefly practiced law in the Supreme Court of India.
