Internships (Nyaaya, New Delhi)
Call for Applications: Design Intern
Nyaaya is a legal-tech initiative, created by the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy and ideated by Rohini Nilekani. We are on a mission to provide an accessible, intuitive and user-friendly platform that explains all Indian laws, and we are looking for interns who want to contribute.
Nyaaya is in an inchoate stage where we are trying build a platform of legal information that is useful and actionable to people. An essential part of this is design built to enable access, that is, design that understands user needs and can envisage dry legal content into innovative graphics. We are looking for someone with good design sense who is interested in helping grow this legal platform with out-of-the-box ideas and an enthusiasm to begin on a relatively new slate. More specifically, anyone who applies should be able to make infographics. If you are someone who has the skills to visualise content in innovative ways and has the design sensibility to understand how to make complex legal information clean and simple, read on.
A degree or certification in graphic design, preferably a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a specialization in graphic design or any allied program. It’s cool if you are currently enrolled in a programme. If you don’t have formal design training but think you are up for this, please feel free to apply. Exceptions can always be made for people with exceptional portfolios
Ability to work in a cross-functional team.

Working in a small dynamic team with equal importance given to different functions across tech, content, design, and marketing.
A chance to ideate and design in a relatively new project and space.

A nice office, and a nicer stipend.
This is a Delhi based position, with a 5 day work week. The term of the internship will be for one month.
