Prianka is a Senior Resident Fellow with the Vidhi Aid initiative. She is currently engaged in strategic litigation and policy interventions for the implementation of the Right to Education Act, 2009, anti tobacco laws and regulations, and independent research on the regulatory regime to address air pollution. Prianka has a mix of litigation and policy research experience. Prior to joining Vidhi, she practiced law as an Advocate in the Supreme Court. She has also worked as a Senior Analyst with PRS Legislative Research, where she tracked ministries such as Law and Justice, Personnel and Public Grievances, Social Justice and Empowerment, and Labour. She has published analyses on a diverse range of Bills introduced in Parliament and provided research support to Members of Parliament. Prianka has a B.A. LLB (Hons.) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. She is interested in the functioning of Parliament as an institution, and strategic engagement with the courts for policy intervention.
